While this French patisserie had long been a Warwick Valley and Zagat’s favorite, the bakery wished to distinguish itself further in the minds of customers from other bakeries that were beginning to crowd the landscape.
Creative Vision was brought on to redesign the website to showcase the artistry of Jean-Claude’s unique culinary offerings through new photography and imaginative text. The design allowed for seasonal updates, as well as the ability to highlights various holidays and special occasions.
Social media was another marketing tactic used to refocus awareness of this business. The Agency designed a Facebook page with regularly scheduled updates accompanied by beautiful photography to literally “whet appetites” and increase store traffic. Following these efforts, sales for the holiday season and Valentine’s Day doubled what they had been in previous years.
Creative Vision then implemented a campaign to spotlight Jean-Claude’s fabulous savory quiche, using local recognizable “real men,” who love Jean-Claude’s quiche – a play on the 1980’s bestseller, Real Men Don’t Eat Quiche. The Quiche Campaign has been hugely successful, with the client commenting that they “can’t keep enough quiche in the shop; it sells out so quickly!”
After a year-long marketing program, Jean-Claude’s has credited Creative Vision with their best ever holiday seasons in their 16 years of operations…for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter.
This premier catering facility, which is a welcome addition to Orange County and the lower Hudson Valley due to its sophisticated décor and large capacity, opened its doors quietly in January of 2013. Other than a soft opening, where some area dignitaries were invited to sample the food and a few weddings and affairs that had been scheduled prior to the opening, there was no marketing plan in place to attract business.
Creative Vision assisted with menu development, logo design, and built custom, highly attractive websites for both Palacio and its steakhouse restaurant, Valeria’s. Additionally, the Agency wrote and produced a comprehensive sales kit to market the banquet and conference facility for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, social gatherings, corporate meetings, and events.
Creative Vision put together a program that combined advertising and public relations that helped to get people through the doors. The campaign for Mother’s Day brunch brought in more than 350 guests. In fact, although the facility had initially intended to use just the restaurant for Mother’s Day, they were so overwhelmed with reservations that it was necessary to open the banquet hall to seat everyone. There was a similar experience for Father’s Day, with the numbers of diners far exceeding expectations.
An initial branding and identity campaign through to an ongoing effective marketing program, Creative Vision became a valued partner in its client’s business and literally helped to get the business the recognition and attention it so rightly deserves.
